Chief Calls On Government To Fix Akyem Kyebi-Apapam Roads

Osabarima Okogyeaman Apagya Ofori IV, the chief of Akyem Kyebi-Apapam, has made a heartfelt plea to the government to prioritize the completion of the road from Akyem Kyebi-Apapam to Akropong and Tumfa.

This appeal comes as residents in communities along this route are struggling to transport their agricultural produce to market centers, severely impacting their livelihoods.

The inadequate road infrastructure has led to challenges in selling foodstuffs, causing some farmers to face bankruptcy as they struggle to sell their produce, with much of it perishing.

The chief emphasized that the completion of the road will allow farmers to successfully continue their agricultural operations and support their companies, and he asked the government to move quickly to begin construction.

Teddy Safori Addi, the member of parliament from the Ayensuano Constituency, concurred with the chief’s observations.

Additionally, he exhorted political parties and other relevant parties to place a high priority on national harmony and peace, especially in the run-up to the next elections.
