Cowbell Celebrates World Milk Day with Free Breakfast for 100K Kids

Under the theme “Let’s Celebrate Nutritious and Sustainable Dairy,” 100,000 servings of a full breakfast were served to students from various basic schools across metropolitan areas, districts, and municipal assemblies nationwide as part of the celebrations for World Milk Day in 2024. The event is by Ghana’s top dairy brand, Cowbell with Twisco Chocolate Drink.

The Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, namely goals two, three, and four—good health and well-being, zero hunger, and high-quality education—were all met by Promasidor’s involvement.

The meal and Agriculture Organization created World Milk Day in 2001 to honor the significance of milk as a staple meal for the world.

Promasidor Ghana’s (PGH) marketing manager, Michael Hagan, spoke at the school outreach and reaffirmed Promasidor’s 25-year commitment to offering high-quality food items.

He said:

“Twenty-five years ago, Promasidor began production of its flagship brand, Cowbell to provide nutritious milk products to Ghanaians, and aid address the issue of malnutrition in the country. Treating our young ones to quality breakfast further exhibits our commitment to the wellbeing of Ghanaians, especially children.”

 “Today, Cowbell offers products that contain protein content as high as 24% as well as other essential minerals and vitamins which aid in the development of the child at an early stage in life.

Many of the visiting school leaders expressed their strong opinions on the benefits of Cowbell’s long-term investments in students’ growth and nutritional needs.

Since 2020, the brand’s impact on enhancing community nutrition is visible in collaboration with the 37 Military Hospital through Nutrition Assessment Programs that support health screenings, feeding education, and the distribution of products in conjunction with World Milk Day celebrations in underprivileged communities.

Promasidor Ghana reiterated during its Silver Jubilee celebration its steadfast dedication to enhancing Ghanaians’ future and advancing the nation’s advancement.
