Nigerian record boss, Don Jazzy, has called on fellow Nigerian musicians to adopt the marketing strategies of Daviodo.
The new Davido album is doing massively well on all streaming platforms. Timeless has broken the record of a debut album stream.
Don Jazzy praised Davido’s promotion tactics and encouraged other Nigerian artists to follow his lead. He did not rely on being an established artist, Davido did not rest on his laurels.

Don Jazzy took to Twitter on Monday to advise his fellow artists. He stated that promoting one’s hard work does not diminish their swag. He added that artists should learn from Davido’s marketing strategies and not rely solely on celebrity status to sell their music.
Since its release, Davido’s album “Timeless” has shattered numerous streaming records, including becoming the highest-charting album by an African artist on US Apple Music (peaking at Number 2).
Additionally, it became the first African album to reach Number One on US iTunes Albums Chart and the album with the most significant first-day streams in Audiomack’s history.
