Nigerian Afrobeat singer and record label boss, Davido have finally opened up on how he overcame his son’s death.
Recall that the lovers and fans of Davido were hit hard by the news of the death of Ifeanyi. The sudden death of the little boy went viral. Fans and lovers sent their condolence messages to the singer.
According to information, Ifeanyi met his untimely death after he drowned in a swimming pool at home. After the news of his boy’s death, Davido went off social media until he broke his silence a few days ago with his album.

In an interview with CNN, Davido opened up on how he overcame that challenging period. The musician has been through a lot since the death of the boy.
Personally, with me, the support I got from people was one of the things that helped me stand up again. At some point, I couldn’t open my Instagram for weeks. One day, I just checked it and I saw messages from every kind of person in the world, from politicians to sportsmen, to other musicians, to presidents, I was like, ‘you’re fine, you see everybody is rooting for you.
That was one thing that made me strong enough to stand up again, get back in the studio, and do what I love. The Timeless album is out on all streaming platforms.
