On the Fufulso-Yapei highway, a Yutong bus carrying passengers from Accra to Tamale was involved in a catastrophic collision that resulted in numerous injuries.
Passengers on board said that the bus was traveling towards Tamale when the driver lost control near Yapei, causing an accident.
A loud sound was heard by witnesses before to the accident.
A cargo truck carrying scrap metal collided on the same roadway in another incident, seriously injuring the driver.
For medical attention, the victims were rushed to the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
