Former Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has officially declared his intention to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer position, once nominations are opened.
In a statement shared on social media, Dr. Adutwum said, “With humility, conviction, and a resolute heart, I, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, declare my intent to run for the Flagbearership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), should nominations be officially opened by the party.”
Dr. Adutwum, known for championing STEM education and playing a key role in Ghana’s Free SHS policy, joins a growing list of potential candidates hoping to lead the NPP into the next general election.
