Vice president Dr Bawumia has been blamed for the recklessness of Prophet Owusu Bempah’s misconduct.
It would be recalled that Dr Bawumia visited the controversial clergyman before the 31st service. According to some Ghanaians, the visit gave the prophet the authority to defy the Ghana Police Service.
Mr Saani has expressed his surprise why Apostle Owusu Bempah, in particular, will go that tangent given his experiences in the past. The man of God, in time past, has given some dangerous prophecies.

He has also said several controversial things and done controversial things as well that got him into trouble. Because of that, why would have expected that he learns lessons from it,” he stated on Midday Live on TV3 on Sunday, January 1.
Dr Bawumia visited Owusu Bempah and donated 50, 000 Ghana Cedis to his church. The gestures from the vice president have triggered controversies.
I think it was a strategic dove. The Vice President shouldn’t have gone to him because it is more like normalising what he does or sort of an approval stamp for what he does consider how controversial he is.

As a result, I think he has been motivated and emboldened by that visit and he feels beyond reproach. That is why he is still into making a such baseless reckless statement that has negative ramifications for the state. Mr Saani added.
