Duncan-Williams Urges Middle-Aged Men To Prioritize Prostate Health.

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, General Overseer of the United Denominations of Action Chapel International, has urged middle-aged men to prioritize their prostate health.

The Archbishop shared his own story and said that his fight against prostate cancer, which is still one of the worst killers of black men, was won thanks to early detection.

He stressed the value of routine medical examinations and preventative health measures in his speech at Action Chapel’s 31st all-night service on December 31, 2024.

Congregants were encouraged to embrace better lifestyles and seek prompt medical assistance by the sermon, which signaled the start of the New Year 2025.

“If you are 40 plus, make sure you are checking your prostate, you hear me? If you are 40 upwards, make sure you are checking your prostate. Check your prostate at least every three or six months.

“Prostate is one of the things that is killing Black men. I know some places that I can recommend to you too and they can help you and save your life. They saved my life, there are people standing here, I recommended them and they saved their lives.

“If I didn’t do the check I did at the time I did it, I wouldn’t be standing on my feet, I wouldn’t be here. Cut it at the right time, and the enemy has an agenda and it was hiding.”
