Today, we remember Ekow Blankson and other media personalities that left us in the just-ended year.
Ekow Blankson was an actor and media manager who died on October 3, 2022. The ‘Borga’ and ‘Rhapsody of Love’ actor died after he was taken to the hospital following an illness. Blankson also starred in many movies in Ghana and abroad.
Comic actor Prince Yawson, known as Waakye of Akan Drama ‘Obra’ fame, died on August 1, after suffering a mild stroke. Before being called to rest with the lord, became a reverend minister of the gospel.

Legendary high-life icon, Alfred Benjamin Crentsil, known as A.B. Crentsil, also left us on July 13. The singer died at the age of 79 years. Life ends at some point. Rest in peace to all gone souls.
Veteran actor Psalm Adjeteyfio, popularly known as, TT for his role in the hit Taxi Driver TV series, died on April 8. The 68-year-old passed away from heart failure complications. The ailing actor before dying, pleaded for forgiveness from his children and wife.
Former Happy FM presenter Francis Ebo Cann, popularly known as Dr Cann, passed away on March 25. The popular DJ’s death came as an awkward surprise. Such is life.

Highlife singer Nana Nsiah Piesie died under tragic circumstances on April 5. The singer was involved in a motor accident at Pokuase while returning to Accra after a trip and succumbed to his injuries. He died at the age of 57.
Comic actor and media personality Baba Spirit, known in private life as Francis Yaw Ofori, was reported dead on Thursday, September 8, after falling ill. Baba Spirit suffered a long battled illness before giving up the ghost.
