Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has been replaced as the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme’s (NEIP) Acting CEO by Eric Adjei, who was nominated by President John Dramani Mahama.
Prior to being appointed, Eric Adjei was the Deputy Bono Regional Communicator and the Deputy Spokesperson for Vice Presidential Candidate Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang during the general election of 2024.
Launched as Youth Enterprise Support (YES) under the NDC administration in August 2014, the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has a long and illustrious history.
Later, in July 2017, the NPP government relaunched the initiative under a new name and with a renewed emphasis on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
