Gifty Klenam, a former member of parliament for Lower West Akim, has made a big change by joining the National Democratic Congress (NDC) instead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Hon. Klenam had the privilege of representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Lower West Akim seat as a Member of Parliament for two terms.
She was elected again in the 2012 general elections after being elected in Ghana’s 2008 general elections.
She served as a member of the Minority in Parliament and represented the Lower West Akim seat during her term.
As the chair of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority and the CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Hon. Klenam has been a well-known figure in Ghanaian politics.
