At Ascension Senior High School in Atonsu, in the Ashanti Region, a dormitory was completely destroyed by a terrible fire.
Authorities believe that a gas cylinder in one of the rooms may have been the origin of the afternoon fire.
The building’s first story was rapidly consumed by the fire.
Thankfully, the fire was put out quickly by the Ghana National Fire Service, preventing it from spreading to other areas of the school.
No injuries were reported, despite the dormitory suffering significant damage.
To stop such situations in the future, authorities are currently looking into the precise origin of the fire.
