Fire Tender Crashes At Kade, 7 Injured

On the Eastern Region’s Otwenkwanta, a fire tender from the Kade Fire Station (FS 438) was engaged in an accident.

While the firefighters were attending to an emergency, when the unfortunate incident took place.

The incident resulted in injuries to seven crew members.

Two of them are very ill at the Kade Government Hospital, while five of them are presently receiving care at Akwatia St. Dominic’s Hospital.

Luckily, one crew member managed to escape unharmed.

The accident’s cause is being looked into.

The injured firemen and their families are in the thoughts and prayers of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

The Service wished them a speedy recovery and praised their bravery.

Serving the public and protecting the security and welfare of its employees are still top priorities for the GNFS.
