Foreign Affairs Ministry Issues Warning To Ghanaians In Lebanon
The Ministry stated that the government is extremely concerned about the quickly developing situation in Lebanon and how it may affect Ghanaians residing there.
The Ministry issued a statement urging all Ghanaians to leave the country right away by using the few flights that are still accessible in Lebanon, given the rapidly worsening circumstances.
To prevent any emergencies, it is critical that all citizens of Ghana take immediate action on this advice.
“Towards this end, the government wishes to encourage Ghanaians living there who may not have travel documents to contact the Embassy of Ghana in Cairo, Egypt or the Ghana Honorary Consulate in Beirut, Lebanon to obtain Emergency Travel Certificates,” the statement advised.

The United Nations (UN) reports that over a million Lebanese citizens have left their nation over continuous, lethal Israeli bombings.
According to Lebanon’s ministry of public health, 151 people were injured and 37 people have died due air and ground attacks in the past 24 hours.
In other news, Israeli forces continued their invasion of Hezbollah and ordered the evacuation of twenty more towns and villages. The Lebanese army said that two of its soldiers had been killed in the country’s south.
