Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has donated GH₵100,000 and 500 bags of cement to help traders who have been impacted by the recent fire outbreak at the Adum Bluelight Market in Kumasi.
The donation was made on Thursday, April 10, with the intention of assisting the victims in recovering and rebuilding their stalls after the fire destroyed the entire section of the market on Friday, March 21, 2025.
Dr. Adutwum visited the scene, expressed his sympathies to the affected traders, urging them to persevere for the sake of their families.
“God will come through for all those who have lost their only source of livelihood, especially those taking care of their wards. Keep being strong for your children, and they will make you proud in the future. We will also keep supporting you in the best way possible.
“I cannot come here empty-handed, so I’m supporting you with GH₵100,000. Additionally, I have 500 bags of cement for you as you work towards the rebuilding of the market,” he said.
