Former YOLO actor Drogba appeals to Bawumia for treatment abroad.
Ghanaian actor, John Peasah, famed for his role as Drogba in the TV series YOLO, has reminded Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of a promise concerning his medical treatment.
In an Instagram post on August 2, 2024, Peasah expressed gratitude to the Vice President for both a visit to his office and a supportive visit to his home.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank the vice president of the land @mbawumia for honouring my visit to his office and also to thank him for the visit to my house and the support,” he posted.
Peasah, who has been battling demyelination for over two years said despite looking well, he continues to suffer from severe, inexplicable pain.

He reminded Vice President Bawumia of his promise to facilitate treatment abroad.
“I might look better but inwardly I’m in excruciating pain…this pain is not explainable!!! Please, I want to remind him not to forget his promise for my treatment outside…Thank you.”
His heartfelt message has received an outpouring of support from fans, who continue to send their well-wishes for his recovery.
