Ghana National Fire Service Launches Next Stage Of 2024 Recruitment
Today, November 11, 2024, marks the start of the second stage of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) recruiting drive for 2024.
The practice will take place at the Fire Academy and Training School in Jamestown, Accra, at 9 a.m.
Successful applicants will go through body selection, documentation, and medical exams, the GNFS announced in a public announcement.
The physical appropriateness of applicants for fire service job is assessed during the body selection phase, while academic credentials and proof of birth are verified during the documentation phase.
Candidates must pay for the medical exams they would have to undergo after passing these phases.
In the meantime, the public and rejected applicants have been warned not to pay anyone who promises to ensure recruitment, as there is no payment necessary to guarantee a spot.
A public statement in August marked the start of the recruitment process, which intends to fill a number of positions inside the service.
