Ghanaian teenager Prince Amoako Junior scores winning goal for FC Nordsjaelland against Midtjylland

Ghanaian teenager, Prince Amoako Junior, was the hero for FC Nordsjaelland on Sunday afternoon, scoring the team’s winning goal against FC Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga.

The 18-year-old started in attack for his team today as they hosted the opponent in a Week 8 fixture of the 2025/26 Danish top-flight league campaign.

Just eight minutes into the contest, Prince Amoako Junior showed impressive pace to enter the FC Midtjylland area, before a display of good skill to create space for a shot that found the back of the net.

That goal proved crucial at the end of the 90 minutes, securing all three points for FC Nordsjaelland after a 1-0 victory.

Prince Amoako Junior played 88 minutes of the big game against FC Midtjylland before making way for fellow Ghanaian Stephen Acquah.

The teenager, after his goal today, now has four goals and one assist after making 8 appearances for his club in the Danish Superliga.

In the same game, Black Stars midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi played the entire duration of the game, helping FC Nordsjaelland to earn the victory.
