An unknown hooligans has set a police station on fire in Nigeria. According to reports, the police personnel had to run for their lives.
The unidentified hooligans ablaze the Umuchu police station, along the Umuchu-Achina road in Anambra State. The unknown gunmen invaded the police station with heavy guns.
Umuchu police station was recently renovated by members of the Umuchu Improvement Union. The station was destroyed during the #EndSARS protests in 2020 by some protesters.

The spokesman for the state police command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed the incident and also disclosed that there was no record of casualty.
The police station is still under renovation before the hoodlums came in the early hours today (Sunday) and set it ablfireze. The situation is under control and calm has returned in the area.
