Info About the Attack On Ursula Owusu’s Home

Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, a member of parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West, was attacked, according to the Ghana Police Service.

According to reports, an unknown group damaged the Communication Minister’s office severely and stole a number of valuables.

According to Accra-based Citi News, the incident happened on Monday, December 9, 2024, at approximately 1:17 PM.

A branded Nissan Hardbody car, three brand-new motorcycles, a television, a printer, two stabilizers, cell phones, food supplies, and an undisclosed sum of money are among the stolen goods.

During the break-in, the criminals also damaged the office door, barbed wire, and CCTV cameras.

However, it’s unclear if the incident has anything to do with her loss in the just concluded general election.

After winning her first election in 2012, the Minister was running for reelection for the fourth time.

But with 31,866 votes, Rev. Addo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) won, and Mrs. Owusu-Ekuful received 26,575.
