Jinapor Denies Applying Aor Any Scholarship From GNPC

John Jinapor, the MP for Yapei Kusawgu, has strongly denied accusations that he applied for a scholarship from the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).

Reports circulating on social media claim that Jinapor is included in the list of recipients of the GNPC Foundation Scholarship. However, in a Facebook post on Saturday, April 13, the MP explicitly stated that he has never applied for or received any scholarship from the GNPC.

He called on the public to ignore these “unfounded” accusations.

“Let me put on record that I have never applied for nor received any scholarship from the GNPC, Scholarship secretariat or GETFUND for any studies abroad.

“I will appeal to the general public to disregard such baseless, concocted, and contrived statements,” Jinapor wrote on his Facebook page.
The Fourth Estate‘s expose on the Scholarship Secretariat has uncovered concerning irregularities and possible corruption within the institution. Through investigative journalism, they shed light on alleged mismanagement of scholarship funds and favoritism in the selection process. This revelation has sparked public outrage and calls for accountability from government officials responsible for overseeing the scholarship program. As citizens demand transparency and fairness in the distribution of educational opportunities, the expose serves as a catalyst for reform within the Scholarship Secretariat.
