Ghanaian goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott has signed with Crawley Town, a team in English League One.
The 27-year-old, who played just seven games for Scottish Premiership team Hibernian, is making a permanent move to Crawley Town.
Wollacott announced his joy for this new phase of his career after agreeing to a two-year contract with Crawley Town.
Wollacott made just nine appearances for Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership last season due to injuries, with five starts and one clean sheet.
With eight years of experience at Bristol City, as well as numerous loan stints at Clevedon Town, Weymouth, Bath City, Woking, Truro City, Gloucester City, and Norway’s Bergsøy, Wollacott brings a wealth of knowledge to the table.
In a 0-0 draw with Charlton Athletic, he made his professional debut for Forest Green Rovers by saving a key penalty.
Wollacott signed a one-year contract with the Robins, rejoining current Crawley Town boss Scott Lindsey, following a loan spell at Swindon Town.
Wollacott praises Lindsey and remembers their time together at Swindon with gratitude.
After that, he played for Charlton Athletic under manager Ben Garner, a former Swindon player, making 20 appearances before joining Hibernian.
Wollacott has also gained eleven Ghanaian caps for international play.
