Kenya strengthens Ties With Ghana As Mahama Visits Ahead Of Inaugration

By promoting trade, investment, agriculture, mining, tourism, and oil and gas, Kenya plans to deepen its ties with Ghana.

The program seeks to promote prosperity and open up new economic prospects for the citizens of both nations.

Ghana’s president-elect John Dramani Mahama and Kenyan President William Ruto met and made the pledge.

The two leaders emphasized the potential of the African Continental Free commerce Area (AfCFTA) to transform economic integration on the continent while discussing ways to increase intra-African commerce.

President Ruto took use of the occasion to thank President-elect Mahama for publicly endorsing Raila Odinga’s bid to lead the African Union Commission.

Plans to attend Mahama’s swearing-in ceremony on January 7, 2025, were also confirmed by the Kenyan president.
