Kotoko Set To Offload Another Defender

Kumasi Asante Kotoko is ready to upgrade the team’s defence going into the second half of the season.

According to reports, Kotoko management has decided to allow another deadwood out of their wage bill. The porcupine warriors have not been the say after Prosper Ogum left.

Defender Andrews Kwadwo Appau, has been told by the club to find a new team in January. He has failed to impress since joining from Bofoakwa Tano.

The Porcupine Warriors signed the defender on a four-year deal back in October 22 but has been unable to cement a position in the team. A team like Kotoko needs consistency.

Appau has featured just 28 times across two seasons to underline his underwhelming performance in Kumasi. As things go, he has fallen out of favour at the Kumasi-based club.
