Kudus To Miss Ghana’s Upcoming Friendlies – West Ham

The Ghanaian Star Is Unavailable for The March 2024 Games

Mohammed Kudus has withdrawn from Ghana’s upcoming international friendly matches this month according to West Ham United.

The English Premier League side released a statement on 20th March 2024 on the status of Mohammed Kudus and his Michael Antonio. The teammates would be unavailable  to join the Ghana and Jamaica national teams respectively. The Hammers however did not clarify on the reason for the withdrawal in the statement they posted on their official website.

The Ghana Black Stars are already in preparations towards the March 22nd and 26th March games in Morocco. The 23 players present at the camp are on schedule to face the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Stade de Marrakech on Friday 22nd. This would be the country’s first international appearance after their humiliating  performance against Mozambique in the AFCON tournament.

The  international friendly games would be wrapped up by a clash scheduled against Uganda on the 24th at the same venue.

Players representing Black Stars at the camp include Osman Bukari, Edmund Addo, Tariq Lamptey,Jerome Opoku,  and Francis Abu. Antoine Semenyo, Abdul Salis, Patrick Kpozo, Alidu Seidu, Joseph Wollacot, Dennis Odoi, Enerst Nuamah and Osman Ibrahim also made the list. The Ayew brothers are present at the camp as well as Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Ebenezer Annan, Abdul Fataw Issahaku and Baba Idrissu.
