Kumasi School Bus Crash Claims Two Lives, Leaves One Injured

A school bus lost control of its steering and collided with two persons in front of a story building in Patasi, Kumasi, resulting in their deaths.

The deceased have been identified as Alfred, a male said to be in his late 40s, and Maame Serwaa, 74. Another individual suffered serious injury.

Witnesses reported that the victims were conversing close to the house when the bus struck them.

According to the driver, he had a brake failure that resulted in the collision and property damage.

The people who were trapped beneath the car were freed by the intervention of the police and firefighters.

The driver is helping the police, and the injured is being treated at Suntreso Government Hospital.
