Lordina Foundation donates medical equipment to Techiman North MP to support healthcare delivery

The Lordina Foundation has donated a range of medical equipment and supplies to the Techiman North Constituency to support healthcare services in the area.

The items were formally presented by the First Lady and President of the Foundation, Mrs Lordina Dramani Mahama, to the Member of Parliament for Techiman North and Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Mrs Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare.

The presentation took place on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Mrs Mahama said the gesture forms part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to improve the lives of vulnerable groups across the country.

“We support deprived children and women in both rural and urban areas by promoting access to quality healthcare, education, and general well-being,” she said at the brief ceremony.

Mrs Ofosu-Agyare, who received the items on behalf of her constituents, said the donation would help improve healthcare delivery in the district.

She noted that the medical supplies would help address some of the basic needs of health facilities in the area.

The items donated included hospital beds, delivery beds, incubators, theatre lights, phototherapy machines, baby scales, syringes, gloves, and trolleys. Others were wheelchairs, commodes, baby cots, baby carts, medical screens, baby baths, bedside cabinets, and overhead tables.

The donation forms part of the Lordina Foundation’s continued outreach to communities with limited access to health infrastructure and equipment.
