Mad Race For Palm Oil Following Tanker Incident at Winneba Roundabout
On the Kasoa-Cape Coast route yesterday, a tanker carrying a significant amount of palm oil lost control and capsized at the Winneba roundabout.
Massive spillage from the accident resulted in severe traffic congestion in the vicinity.
Residents raced to the area as soon as word of the catastrophe spread, carrying buckets, jugs, and other containers to catch the spilled palm oil.
In addition to seriously disrupting traffic, the oil leak aroused worries about safety because it made the road slick and perhaps dangerous for drivers.
There were a lot of people seeking to take advantage of the surprise distribution despite the possible risks.
