The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama, paid a visit to Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the former national chairman of the party.
On Sunday, the former president paid Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo a visit at his Accra home, where he was well received.
Victor Smith, the former Ghanaian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, and Kojo Adu Asare, a former Adentan Member of Parliament, were also present among others.
This took place after the former executive returned to Ghana a few weeks ago following medical treatment in the US.
After traveling for nearly a year to receive medical attention, Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo underwent a number of back procedures.
