Today, October 16, 2024, is the formal start of the fourth phase of the campaign by former president John Mahama in the Greater Accra Region.
He plans to interact with different communities in an effort to mobilize support before to the impending elections.
At a community engagement event at Old Ningo in the Ningo Prampram constituency, Mr. Mahama will hear the worries of the locals and offer his vision for the area as part of the campaign kick-off.
After the first meeting, Mr. Mahama will speak at a mini-campaign durbar in Prampram, where he will stress the value of cooperation and togetherness among National Democratic Congressmen (NDC) members as they get ready for the elections.
Mahama will further establish his presence in the Ningo Prampram area by taking part in a mini rally in Afienya as part of his campaign efforts.
After that, he’ll relocate to Gbetseli in the Kpone Katamanso constituency, where he’ll go on with his community outreach initiatives, attending to the needs of the locals and advocating for their support of the NDC in the approaching elections.
Mr. Mahama will meet with stakeholders in the Tema industrial area, specifically in Community 9, to wrap up the day’s events. During their discussion, he will address job creation and economic development.
In a further demonstration of his dedication to promoting harmony and collaboration amongst various communities, he will speak with traditional chiefs and religious authorities at a mosque in Community 7.
In Tema New Town, Mr. Mahama will conclude his day by holding a community engagement session, where he will reiterate his message of progress and hope for the people of Greater Accra.
