Man With Kidney Issues Saved From Suicide Attempt In Ashaiman

An incredible rescue occurred in Ashaiman, Lebanon, when Alfred Agoma, also referred to as Yehowa Nyagbe in the community, tried to commit suicide by climbing a high-tension pole.

Agoma, who is fighting renal cancer, was brought to the brink of hopelessness by his incapacity to pay for the required medical care.

Residents were immediately concerned about the occurrence and notified the police, fire department, and the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) as soon as possible.

When these emergency responders worked together, they were able to safely lower Agoma off the pole, averting a tragic ending.

Agoma disclosed, in a devastating disclosure, that the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) had given him a kidney cancer diagnosis.

Although he was told to get therapy, the spiraling costs of his care rendered him bankrupt and drove him to the verge of death.
