Manchester United Set To Release Six Players

English Premier League giants Manchester United will be offloading some deadwood from their wage bill.

According to reports, Erik Ten Hag, has given the Manchester United board go-ahead. Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure has given room for more addition.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The defender arrived at United with the potential of a classic defender. The Englishman has been a total flop at Old Trafford.

Wan-Bissaka has dropped completely out of favour since Ten Hag’s arrival. Playing only four minutes in the first half of the season. United are reportedly ready to cut their losses.

The 25-year-old won’t fetch anywhere close to the £50 million he cost the club in 2019. He is unlikely to go for peanuts either, given his contract is still due to run until 2024.

A potential return to Palace has been mooted for Wan Bissaka, which might suit all parties concerned, and open up room for United to sign a new right-back to challenge Diogo Dalot for a regular starting spot.

Donny van de Beek

The former Aja midfielder has failed to meet his transfer fee. The Dutchman is following the footsteps of Di Maria, Memphis Depay and Alexis Sanchez at united.

The 25-year-old was tipped for a major boost after reuniting with his former Ajax boss Ten Hag in the summer. Donny has still not cemented his place in the Red devil’s starting lineup. Ten Hag wants to help his boy improve.

Brandon Williams

Promising talent Brandon Williams will have to seek more playing time elsewhere in the summer. Williams’s loan spell at Norwich was not that productive.

The England U21 international played 26 Premier League games for the Canaries. Norwich’s return to the Championship saw him return to United. Before the start of the season, he wanted to go out on loan.

Other players include Shola Shoretire, Tenden Mengi and Facundo Pellistri. These players would have to find a new team before it becomes too late.
