Massive Fire Guts Home In Odumasi-Santreso

A fire in the Ashanti Region has totally destroyed a six-bedroom home in Odumasi Santreso.

The incident happened on Saturday, March 23, 2025, at approximately 4:30 in the morning.

Kofi Tawiah, the chairman of the Odumasi Santreso electoral area’s Unit Committee, told Adom News that the incident was true.

He claims that firefighters were unable to react to a distress call at the Konongo-Odumasi Fire Station because their fire tender was malfunctioning.

He bemoaned, “We then called the Ejisu Fire Station for help, but by the time they got there, the whole house was burned and there was nothing left to save.”

The fire’s cause has not yet been identified.
