Former Black Star and Chelsea player Micheal Essien is working on his coaching career after retiring from active football.
Nigerian Sports journalist Lolade Adewuyi in an interaction with Micheal Essien, asked the former midfield tank to consider coaching the black stars in the future.
Micheal Essien coaches the Danish Super League’s side FC Nordsjaelland youth team with two UEFA coaching badges.

Micheal Essien was part of the team that qualified Ghana for its historic first world cup in Germany in 2006. His former teammates, Richard Kingston and Laryea Kingston, are with the national team. Richard is Black Stars’ goalkeeper’s trainer and Laryea is with the U17.
