A fire broke out in a moving private car on the road near the Adum STC area in the Ashanti Region.
The unregistered SUV, believed to have overheated, began to burn from the front.
Witnesses observed smoke and flames coming from the SUV, leading them to promptly contact emergency services.
The management of the incident was greatly aided by the KMA Fire Service personnel’s timely arrival.
They tried, but the front of the SUV burned all the way through, seriously damaging it.
In order to avoid repeat instances, the staff encouraged car owners to make sure their vehicles are inspected and serviced on a regular basis.
