Mr. Beautiful throws challenge to Ofori Amponsah.
Ghanaian actor and political activist Mr. Beautiful has stirred the political debate with the release of a new campaign song titled “Game Changer.”
The outspoken entertainer confidently claims that his song will outshine any other campaign songs particularly those supporting Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
In a direct challenge, Mr. Beautiful boldly declared, “They (Ofori Amponsah and Appietus) can do their song, but for me, I am selling my product, and no political song can beat ‘Game Changer.’”
In an interview on Adom FM’s Ofie Kwanso show with host Jerry Justice, Mr. Beautiful explained his decision to contribute to the campaign in a way that aligns with his strengths.

“I decided to do a campaign song because that is the only way I could support. I cannot do TV or radio ads. I decided to make it commercial in a music form. My aim is to put it across all platforms… it has an everyday content,” he said, emphasizing the broad appeal and message of the song.
The actor, known for his strong support of former President John Dramani Mahama, expressed his admiration for Mahama’s leadership qualities.
“The John Mahama I know, I wish every Ghanaian would have an opportunity to have an hour conversation with him… even if you are mad, and you have a conversation with him, just 30 minutes. He doesn’t talk anyhow. Before Mahama speaks, it means he is ready,” Mr. Beautiful remarked, adding that Mahama’s commitment to farming and other initiatives proves his capability to lead.
Reflecting on the 2016 elections, Mr. Beautiful noted, “he [Mahama] lost the 2016 elections before Ghanaians saw the good things he had done… he is the game changer, just like my song.”
