Ghanaian musician Mzbel has taken an active role in the campaign efforts for former President John Dramani Mahama, and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
This comes ahead of Mahama’s planned tour of the Volta Region, set to take place from Tuesday, August 13th to Friday, August 16th, 2024.
During his tour, Mahama will engage with the grassroots across all eighteen constituencies in the region.
His itinerary includes door-to-door interactions, market-to-market conversations, lorry station chats, broad-based community mobilizations, and will culminate in rallies.

Mzbel shared these details via a social media post, expressing her strong support for Mahama.
Mzbel’s decision to campaign for Mahama has taken many Ghanaians by surprise, especially given the rocky relationship between the two during the 2020 elections.
