New Health Center opened In Obuasi To Improve Healthcare Services
To improve healthcare delivery to residents in the mining town and its surrounding settlements, a new health center has been fully operationalized in the Obuasi municipality.
The Obuasi Municipal Assembly funded the project with money from the mineral royalties given to the mining town.
The Adansi-Bonnah facility, which is located in Obuasi’s major business center, is anticipated to serve the medical needs of those who live close to the Obuasi major Market and beyond.
The two-story health facility, which costs 1.6 million cedis, has an outpatient section, consultation rooms, wards, a nurse’s bedroom, offices, a pharmacy, and other ancillary amenities.
It will take the place of the now-defunct Jemima Maternity Home, which offered traders in the marketplace regions quick medical attention.
