Nigerian Comedian Reveals Christian Atsu Paid His School Fees
Christian Atsu, known not only for his career in football but also for his philanthropy, has left many devastated by his tragic passing.
Among those mourning his loss is Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Emmanuel Iwueke, also known as Craze Clown, who revealed that Atsu had paid his school fees until he graduated following the passing of his father.
According to Craze Clown, the footballer had been supporting him since 2015 and reached out to help after his father’s death.
In a tribute posted on Twitter, the comedian expressed his gratitude for Atsu’s friendship and support, and said he would deeply miss him.
“When I lost my dad, he l reached out and offered to pay my fees till I graduated and he did. You’ve been a great friend of mine, Chris, and I will surely miss you. I really can’t hold back the tears. Rest well brother.”

Atsu was found deceased under the rubble following the devastating earthquake that occurred in Turkey on February 6.
Atsu played for various European clubs, such as Chelsea, FC Porto, Newcastle United, Everton, and Bournemouth.
Atsu joined Hatayaspor in September of last year, and just hours before the natural disaster that has claimed over 45,000 lives, he scored his first goal for the club on Sunday, February 5.
