Normal Traffic Flows As Police Reopens All Blocked Roads In Accra
All of the highways that were previously closed during the Ghana Police Service’s special operations in Accra have now reopened, the agency reported.
On September 23, 2024, at 6:00 PM, the reopening took place.
Prior to the Democracy Hub demonstration, the police had first blocked off highways from September 21 to September 24 as part of their efforts to maintain law and order.
The section between the 37 Roundabout and the AU Roundabout was one of the worst damaged regions.
During that time, drivers received assistance and traffic management from officers of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD).
Throughout the drill, the Police thanked the people for their cooperation and patience.
