Nothing Has Been Solved – Muller On Bayern ‘s Performance

Thomas Muller emphasizes that Bayern Munich’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal hasn’t resolved anything and hasn’t boosted team morale, contrary to what some may believe.

Muller has dismissed the idea that Bayern’s 2-2 draw with the Premier League leaders has boosted team morale. Despite their draw against Arsenal, Bayern’s prospects in the Bundesliga appear bleak as they trail Bayer Leverkusen by 16 points with only six games left. Additionally, their early exit from the DFB-Pokal at the hands of lower-league Saarbrucken has diminished their chances of winning domestic silverware, leaving the Champions League as their sole opportunity for success.

Muller told reporters at a charity run, per TZ: “Nothing has been solved at all! Of course there is a fundamental dissatisfaction when you look at the overall picture: where we are in the Bundesliga, what our statistics look like and how often we have lost in the league. We have problems winning games consistently. We always had good games – but not the kind you would expect from FC Bayern.”

Ahead of the second leg, Bayern will face Koln in the Bundesliga on Saturday, while Arsenal will take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.
