Following an accident on Saturday, July 27, the party’s communications director, Richard Ahiagbah, is in stable condition, according to Justin Kodua Frimpong, general secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
When the tragedy happened, Mr. Ahiagbah was traveling to Kumasi for an event.
According to Mr. Kodua Frimpong, who visited Mr. Ahiagbah at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, he is still in a stable condition and is responding favorably to therapy.
Mr. Kodua Frimpong expressed the NPP’s sincere gratitude to all well-meaning Ghanaians for their outpouring love and well wishes in a press release released on Sunday.
In order to guarantee that Mr. Ahiagbah has enough rest while recovering, he also said that the medical professionals have recommended limiting the number of visits.
The statement said:
“Mr Ahiagba is in a stable condition and is responding positively to treatment. The NPP expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all well-meaning Ghanaians for their overwhelming love and well wishes.”
“The attending doctors have advised limiting visitors to ensure Mr Ahiagba receives adequate rest during his recovery,”
