One Life Lost In Ho Catholic Women Delegates Crash
One person has died and other others have been injured in a sad accident.
According to reports, the victims were on their way to Saltpond in the Central Region to celebrate the Catholic Women Association’s (CWA) 65th anniversary. They were members of the Ho Diocesan Catholic Women Association (CWA).
The vehicle carrying the 15-member delegate crashed on Thursday, August 29, 2024, near Kpong on the Akosombo-Accra Highway.
According to reports, the collision was caused by the vehicle’s back tires blowing out.
On Saturday, August 31, 2024, one of the victims (name withheld) reportedly passed away.
Numerous additional individuals who suffered from varying degrees of harm are presently undergoing medical attention at adjacent hospitals.
Since then, some have been released from hospital, while others are still receiving care.
