Janet Asana Nabla, the national chairman of the People’s National Party (PNP), has been officially confirmed as the party’s flagbearer for the elections scheduled for December 7.
This occurred during a Sunday, September 1 National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, where Dr. Edmund Ayesu’s confirmation as the running mate was also made.
In a statement, the party said that this crucial choice represents a big advancement in its efforts to give Ghana a leadership group dedicated to revolutionary change.
The General Secretary, Suleman Seidu, signed the statement, which highlighted the two people’s experience and knowledge in politics.
As a result, PNP has urged all Ghanaians to support the new administration in their joint efforts to create a future that puts every citizen’s prosperity and well-being first.
When Madam Nabila led the People’s National Convention (PNC), she became the first female general secretary of a political party in Ghana.
In April 2024, though, she left PNC to found PNP.
