The Ashanti North Regional Police Command has arrested a suspect, identified as Seidu, in connection with a robbery incident at Offinso Abofour.
The arrest was made on May 25, 2025, during a targeted police operation. According to preliminary investigations, the robbery led to the theft of a quantity of gold and an unspecified amount of cash.
Seidu is currently in police custody and assisting with ongoing investigations. Authorities believe he may be linked to a series of other robbery incidents across the country.
Police say efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend his accomplices.
