Prayer Camp Thief Arrested At Nkawkaw
At Nkawkaw, in the Kwawu West Municipality of the Eastern Region, a young man in his early thirties was taken into custody on grounds of stealing from participants in the Captain Jesus prayer camp.
The culprit, known only as Daniel, had arrived at the camp seeking spiritual healing but was later discovered robbing churchgoers of their cell phones, gas cylinders, clothing, and plantains.
Samuel Doku, a security guard at the prayer camp, claimed in an interview that the suspect was apprehended in the act.
He claimed that they gave him over to Nkawkaw Police Command officers so they could help with the inquiry.
Doku further advised prayer camp leaders to exercise caution and vigilance against individuals who seek sanctuary within their camps.
