Prisca Sedinam Takes On Role As Deputy CEO Of Youth Employment Agency

At the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Prisca Sedinam Kekeshie has been named Deputy Chief Executive Officer, with responsibility for Finance and Administration.

Prisca offers a wealth of knowledge to her new position, having worked at the firm for 13 years.

In order to further the organization’s goal of providing Ghanaian youth with long-term career prospects, she is anticipated to collaborate closely with Malik Basintale, the recently appointed Acting CEO.

Her nomination comes after President John Dramani Mahama appointed Malik Basintale as Acting CEO, resulting in a recent leadership transition at YEA.

This modification came after Kofi Baah Agyepong formally resigned on January 24, 2025, claiming personal obligations.

Agyepong thanked the agency for the opportunity to serve and wished it continued success in his letter of resignation.

With Basintale and Prisca now spearheading efforts to improve youth employment programs, his departure signifies a shift for YEA.

It is anticipated that Prisca’s leadership and experience will be crucial in advancing the agency’s administrative and financial plans and guaranteeing operational effectiveness.

Her appointment is viewed as a calculated step to improve the agency’s leadership during this pivotal time under the Mahama administration.
