Prof. Kobby Mensah has been named the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Tourism Development Company Limited by President John Dramani Mahama.
Prof. Mensah, an Associate Professor at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) and a well-known authority in tourism marketing, brings a lot of knowledge and experience to his new position.
Through a number of projects, such as the Destination Legon Tourism Marketing Exhibition, which combines academic research with business practice, Prof. Mensah has played a significant role in promoting tourism throughout his career.
It is expected that the appointment will improve Ghana’s tourism development’s strategic direction and solidify its standing as a popular travel destination.
