It is formally declared by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) that Prof. (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson has been appointed Vice-Chancellor for an additional term.
At its 282nd regular meeting, the University Council approved the Committee’s recommendation to extend her term by an additional two years, beginning on August 1, 2024, and ending on July 31, 2026.
The fact that Prof. Dickson was reappointed speaks volumes about her leadership and first-term contributions to the expansion of the university. Significant progress has been made at KNUST in the areas of academic excellence, innovative research, and infrastructure development under her direction.
Ansh Ak Boateng, the university registrar, verified the renewal in a formal notification sent to the public and university community.
