Ritualists Vandalize Over 20 Graves At Sehwi Asawinso Cemetery

Over twenty graves at the Sehwi Asawinso cemetery in the Sehwi Wiawso Municipality of the Western North have apparently been desecrated by suspected ritualists.

Local chiefs and locals were allegedly incensed and concerned when the suspects dug out corpses and other remains from the tombs.

Locals visiting the cemetery earlier this week noted some graves had been tampered with, which led them to discover the desecration.

Suspicions of ritualistic practices were aroused when it was discovered that complete skeletons and body parts had been removed.

Kofi Nkrumah voiced his amazement and dissatisfaction over the occurrence through Abusuapanin of Sehwi Asawinso.

He declared that this act of sacrilegiousness shows a flagrant disdain for their departed ancestors.

In addition, Mr. Nkrumah claimed that it was an insult to their traditions and customs, and he demanded that the culprits be found right away through investigations.

Additionally, Nana Hemaa Ama Kyiniwaa, the queen of Sehwi Asawinso, stated that precautions are being taken to prevent people from visiting the graveyard without authorization.

She also said that there will be consequences for anyone who disobeyed this order.
